아래의 편지는 Ryun Chang 선교사(멕시코)님으로부터 김충룡 장로님께 온 편지입니다. 최근 선교사님의 아버님께서 소천하셨다는 내용이 포함되어 있습니다. Ryun Chang 선교사님께 위로와 평강 주시기를 기도드립니다.

My father passed away, in peace, yesterday. I would appreciate it if you remember to pray for my mother who had been married to her husband for more than 50 years.

The life of my father demostrates the doctrine of Perseverance of Saints, or better put, Perseverance of God with us.  He died the best way I know --in earnest desire to be with God, knowing that his time on earth had expired.  Upon being told that he had cancer by his doctor who is from India (and presumably a hindu), my father said to him in clear English: No problem; I have Jesus;  You need Jesus too!   Now, that´s IMPRESSIVE.

We spoke on Wednesday on the phone, knowing that he might not have much more time left on earth.  His last words in nutshell: "Be good to your wife and kids and serve the Lord with faithfulness.  Let´s hang up now because this international call is very expensive for you."  

It was good closure.
